Day 1: Zoho Books Introduction & Basic Setup
Overview of Zoho Books Features*: Introduction to key features and navigation.
Organization Setup: Configuring company profile, adding users, and setting permissions.
Tax Configurations: Setting up taxes and tax rates.
Creation of Items: Adding products/services for sales and purchases.
Creation of Contacts: Adding customers and vendors to Zoho Books.
Day 2: Day-to-Day Transactions
Sales Transactions: Creating invoices, credit notes, and sales orders.
Multi-Currency Invoicing: Creating invoices in different currencies, applying exchange rates, and managing foreign currency transactions.
Purchase Transactions: Creating purchase orders, bills, and purchase credit notes.
Expense Management: Recording and categorizing expenses.
Day 3: Advanced Operations & Time-Based Billing
Time-Based Invoicing: Setting up project-based invoices and hourly billing.
Revenue & Expense Forecasting: Configuring budgets and tracking revenue/expenses for future periods.
Transaction Locking: Locking past transactions by date or period to prevent accidental changes.
Manual Journals: Creating and managing journal entries for adjustments or corrections.
Bulk Update: Updating multiple transactions (e.g., invoices, bills) at once.
Sales/Purchase Approvals*: Setting up approval workflows for sales and purchase transactions.
Day 4: Banking, Reconciliation & Tax Filing
Banking Integration: Linking bank accounts and credit cards with Zoho Books.
Bank Feeds & Reconciliation: Importing bank transactions and performing reconciliation.
Automated Expense Approvals: Automating the approval process for expenses and bills.
GST Filing: Filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B) and understanding tax compliance.
Day 5: Reports, Customization, Integrations & Automations
Zoho Reports: Generating key financial reports like Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Custom Reports.
Customizing Reports: Tailoring reports to your business needs (e.g., filtering, grouping, and summarizing data).
Automating Workflows: Using Zoho Flow for task automation and connecting Zoho Books with other applications.
